Winter Short Track 1

Winter Short Track Series race #1, January 17, 2010, Charlotte, NC
Rennaissance Park short track is again hosting the winter series for 2010. Recent all-weather improvements to the trail
turned out to be quite needed as heavy rains from Saturday left the trail quite muddy in spots (as in Cyclocross muddy). The
weather was beautiful for January and there were large fields in all classes. There were a couple of CX bikes, but the vast
majority were MTB's. Of the MTB's, many were hardtails. All ended up muddy.
