NCCX series finale at Tanglewood Park, Winston-Salem, NC, December 6th, 2009 Even with wet conditions from the previous days' rain the Tanglewwod Park course was the fastest of the NCCX series. There was a stair-step run-up in the mud which was followed by an extremely fast path through the woods. There was a set of double barriers providing the only other dismount. Race and series points prizes were awarded throughout the day. Timothy Hopkin puts on a great series. There were big fields and tons of wild fans at all of the races. If you ever want a taste of Cyclocross racing I would highly recommend the NCCX series. |
